About this site
ABOUT this site
This site is a placeholder pending what you and I make it over the coming weeks.
Over the next few days I will add a blog where you can tell me what you would like to see on the site and where you and her other friends can tell me what should be on here.
Right now her obituary is below for those who did not see it in the paper or online. It will still be on the site somewhere because it is a part of her life. You can help me decide how to handle it.
I intend to add some pictures in the next day or so which will grow as you send me those you would like to see on the site.
I’m looking forward to working on this site with your help.

KIMBERLY's obituary
Kimberly Michelle Stracka (33) of Martinsburg, WV passed away at home on April 21, 2022. She was born August 8, 1988. She was proud of her birthdate – her lucky number was 8 (oddly enough) and she saw 8s in everything. Kimberly was a happy child and a friendly and cheerful adult. She made friends very where she went. She would brighten up any room she walked in with her laughter and brilliance.
Growing up in Northern Virginia she was always outgoing and one of her achievements was being selected as a flyer for the McLean High School cheerleader squad. One of her great childhood loves was acting so Mom and Dad sent her to Barbizon Modeling and Acting School where she won Model of the Year award and went to New York to participate in the IMTA competition where she excelled. She then moved to California to pursue her acting career and lived there for 10 years.
She received her Associates Degree as a Medical Assistant while living in California and worked for Kaiser-Permanente in the ER.
She recently received her Real Estate License and was employed by Wyndham Resorts as a Time-Share Realtor.
She was a member of AMVETS Post 38 Ladies Auxiliary in Falling Waters, WV. She was also a Life Member of VFW Post 896 in Martinsburg, WV.
She is survived by her parents Ed and Julie Stracka. Brothers are Mike Stracka (Sharon) and Will Stracka. She had 3 nieces and 2 nephews, 5 Uncles and 5 Aunts and numerous cousins.
The service will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport, MD. Visitation/Viewing is at 3:00 – 4:00 with the service immediately following. A Celebration of Life for all the family and friends will be at her parents residence after the service.
Extraordinary Experiences
We have all had extraordinary experiences with Kimberly – I want this site to reflect those experiences, not just the obituary. It will be in here somewhere because it is part of her life, but should not define her life because it was so much more than that.
What can you do?
I would like you to think about what you want yourself and others to remember about Kimberly and tell me about it with text and pictures and I’ll work with you to make this site to look like that.
